These forms will be collected from the submitting author during the paper/presentation submittal process.

Authors who submitted an abstract for a paper will be able to submit a technical paper for consideration to be published in a special issue of CORROSION journal. See more information below.

CORROSION Journal Paper

Authors who submitted an abstract for a paper, presentation only, or poster will be able to submit a technical paper for consideration to be published in a special issue of CORROSION journal.

During the abstract submittal, authors can identify if they would like their abstract to be considered for the special collection.

Submitted articles will undergo a new peer review, separate from the review that took place for the conference. This will occur via CORROSION journal’s paper submission portal, ScholarOne, and will involve guest editors who have been recommended by the Environmental Degradation committee.

If applicable, authors are encouraged to make modifications to their conference papers prior to submission. While most of the conference presentations will be in-scope for the journal, there are a few that may need to make a few additions, clearly linking and discussing how the research presented in the conference paper or presentation does or could affect corrosion or stress corrosion cracking susceptibility.

More information about CORROSION journal’s special collection can be found here.
